Brian Hall

Brian Hall of Waywords and MeansignsBrian Hall grew up near Boston and has now lived for many years in Ithaca, NY. He’s published seven books, four of them novels, on subjects ranging from Robert Frost, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the breakup of Yugoslavia, the Lewis and Clark expedition, the Odyssey, missing fathers, 70s communes, the Anschluss, and the former East Bloc. An amateur pianist and cellist, his lifelong second love is music.

Brian Hall contributed to the second edition of Waywords and Meansigns, recording Book I Chapter 8, “The Washers at the Ford (Anna Livia Plurabelle)” with Mary Lorson.
